Flea Markets treasuers

I dropped into the flea market at the Sydney Growers Markets yesterday.
I love this flea market because it’s one of the only true flea markets around. It super, super cheap! They mostly sell second hand clothes, toys, shoes, and general house hold items. There is nothing fancy about this market - Stall holders set up shop under a cold, concrete car parking station, where most items are laid out on the floor. I think most of the stuff being sold is salvaged off the streets before a council clean up. Regardless, I love to wander round, looking at the boxes and boxes of old tools, glassware and crockery. It’s mostly odd bits of vintage plates, vases, cups and saucers but in quite good condition!

Yesterday I picked up this A4 drawing of a tall ship for my son. It cost me $2 AUD after a litlle haggling :)
